The Moon

Last Quarter occurs on 07th at h 03-51 I.S.T.

New Moon occurs on 15th at h 07-10 I.S.T.

First Quarter occurs on 23rd at h. 01-02 I.S.T.

Full Moon occurs on 29th  at h 15-27 I.S.T.

   

 The Lunar Crescent becomes first visible after the New Moon day in the evening of 16th..

The Moon is at Apogee or farthest from the Earth on 12th and at Perigee or nearest to the Earth on 28th.

The Moon passes about 1½º south of Neptune on 1st, about 3½º north of Jupiter on 05th after midnight, about 3º north of Uranus on 5th, about 11½º north of Venus on 11th, about 6º north of Mercury on 13th, about ½º north of Mars on 17th, about 2½º south of Saturn on 27th, about 1½º south of Neptune on 28th before midnight.


The Earth

The Earth is at Autumnal Equinox on 23rd.

 

The Planets

Visibility of Planets:


Mercury: The planet is too close to the sun to be visible upto 11th of the month. On 12th it become visible in the eastern sky, it rises about 1 hour to 1½ hours before sunrise for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Inferior Conjunction with the Sun on 6th. The motion of the planet becomes Direct with respect to earth from 16th. The planet is in Greatest Western Elongation of about 18° from the Sun on 22nd. The planet is at Perihelion or nearest to the Sun in its orbit on 23rd

Venus: The planet rises about 2 hours to 2½ hours before sunrise upto second quarter of the month and about 2½ hour to 3 hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Direct with respect to earth from 4th.

Mars: The planet sets about 1 hour after sunset upto 14th of the month. From 15th planet is too close to the Sun to be visible. 

Jupiter: The planet rises about 3½ hours to 3 hours after sunset upto first quarter of the month, about 3 hours to 2½ hours after it upto third quarter of the month and 2½ hours to 2 hours after it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth from 4th.

Saturn: The planet sets close to sunrise time to about ½ hour before it upto first quarter of the month, about ½ hour to 1½ hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 1½ hours to 2 hours before it upto third quarter of the month about 2 hours to 2½ hours before it for the remaining days of the month.

Uranus: The planet rises about 4 hours to 3½ hours after sunset upto second quarter of the month, about 3½ hours to 3 hours after it upto third quarter of the month and 3 hours to 2½ hours after it for the remaining days of the month.

 Neptune: The planet rises about 1 hour to ½ hour after sunset upto first quarter of the month, about ½ hour after sunset to close to sunset time upto second quarter of the month, Thereafter the planet sets close to sunrise time to about ½ hour before it for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Opposition with the sun on 19th.
