ASTRONOMICAL BULLETIN FOR NOVEMBER 2025 The Moon
The Moon passes about 3 ½0 north of Saturn on 2nd, about 30 north of Neptune on 2nd before midnight time, about 50 north of Uranus on 6th before midnight time, about 40 north of Jupiter on 10th, about 60 south of Venus on 19th, about 5 ½0 south of Mercury on 20th , about 4 ½0 south of Mars on 21st , about 40 north of Saturn on 30th after midnight time of 29th, about 30 north of Neptune on 30th. The PlanetsVisibility of Planets: Mercury: The planet sets about 1 ½ hours to 1 hour after sunset upto first quarter of the month, about 1 hour to ½ hour after it upto 13th of the month From 14th planet is too close to the Sun to be visible upto 24th of the month. From 25st it become visible in the eastern sky, it rises about close to sunrise time to 1 ½ hours before sunrise for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth from 10th. The planet is in Inferior conjunction with Sun on 20th of the month. The planet approaches the Perihelion position on its orbit or reaches nearest to the Sun on 23rd. The motion of the planet becomes Direct with respect to Earth from 29th. Venus: The planet rises about 1 hour to ½ hour before sunrise throughout the month. Mars: The planet sets about 1 hour after sunset upto 2nd of the month. From 3rd planet is too close to the Sun to be visible. Jupiter: The planet rises about 2 hours to 2 ½ hours before local midnight time upto first quarter of the month, about 2 ½ hours to 3 hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 3 hours to 3 ½ hours before it upto third quarter of the month and 3 ½ hours to 4 hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth from 11th. Saturn: The planet sets about 2 ½ hours to 1 ½ hours after local midnight time upto the third quarter of month, about 1 ½ hours to ½ hour after it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Direct with respect to Earth from 28th. Uranus: The planet rises about 1 hour to ½ hour after sunset upto second quarter of the month, about ½ hour to close to sunset time upto third quarter of the month and planet sets close to sunset time to about ½ hour before sunrise for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Opposition with the sun on 21st. Neptune: The planet sets about 3 hours to 2 ½ hours after local midnight time upto the first quarter of month, about 2 ½ hours to 2 hours after it upto second quarter of the month, about 2 hours to1 ½ hours after it upto the third quarter of month, about 1 ½ hours to 1 hour after it for the remaining days of the month. Conjunction of Planet: Venus passes about 4 º north of Spica (Chitra) on 1st. Mercury passes about 1 ½ º south of Mars on 13th. Mars passes about 4 º north of Antares (Jyestha) on 17th. Mercury passes about 1 º north of Venus on 25th. Jupiter passes about 6 ½ º south of Pollux (Punarvasu) on 26th.
