Eclipse

Total Eclipse of the Moon: The phenomenon will occur on 8^th Nov. 2022. The eclipse begins at 14-39 I.S.T. and ends at 18-19 I.S.T. The eclipse will be visible in India.

The Planets

Mercury: The planet is too close to the Sun to be visible throughout the month, being in Superior Conjunction with the Sun on 8^th.The planet is in Aphelion position or farthest from the Sun on 30^th.

Venus The planet is too close to the Sun to be visible till 21^st of the month. Thereafter it reappears and sets about ½ hour after sunset for the remaining days of the month.

Mars:The planet rises after sunset and remains visible till the beginning of morning twilight throughout the month. It rises about 3 hours to 2½ hours after sunset upto first quarter of the month, about 2½ hours to 2 hours after it upto second quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 1½ hours after it upto third quarter of the month and about 1½ hours to ½ hour after it for the remaining days of the month.

Jupiter:The planet sets about 3 hours to 2½ hours after local midnight time upto first quarter of the month, about 2½ hours to 2 hours after it upto second quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 1½ hours after it upto third quarter of the month and about 1½ hours to 1 hour after it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Direct with respect to the Earth on 24^th.

Saturn: The planet sets from about close to local midnight time to ½ hour before itupto first quarter of the month, about ½ hour to 1 hour before it upto second quarter of the month, about 1 hour to 1½ hours before it upto third quarter of the month and about 1½ hours to 2 hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Quadrature with the Sun on 11^th.

Uranus:The planet rises from about ½ hour after sunset to close to sunset time upto first quarter of the month. Thereafter it sets from close to sunrise time to ½ hour before it upto second quarter of the month, about ½ hour to 1 hour before it upto third quarter of the month and about 1 hour to 1½ hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Opposition with the sun on 9^th.

Neptune: The planet sets about 2½ hours to 2 hours after local midnight upto first quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 1½ hours after it upto second quarter of the month, about 1½ hours to 1 hour after it upto third quarter of the month and about 1 hour to ½ hour after it for the remaining days of the month.
