The Moon passes about 20 south of Mercury on 3rd, about 30 south of Venus on 6th, about ½0 north of Saturn on 14th before midnight, about ½0 north of Neptune on 15th before midnight, about 4½0 north of Uranus on 19th before midnight, about 60 north of Jupiter on 21th, about 40 north of Mars on 24th. Eclipse Solar Eclipse: Annular solar eclipse will occur on 2nd October. The eclipse begins at 21-13 I.S.T., 2nd October and ends at 03-17 I.S.T., 3rd October. Annular phase begins at 22- 24 I.S.T., 2nd October and ends at 02-06 I.S.T., 3rd October. The eclipse will not be visible in India. The PlanetsVisibility of Planets: Mercury: The planet is too close to the sun to be visible upto 22nd of the month. From 23rd it become visible in the western sky, it sets about ½ hour to 1 hour after sunset for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in superior conjunction with the Sun on 1st. The planet is at aphelion or farthest from the Sun in its orbit on 23rd. Venus: The planet sets about 1½ hours to 2 hours after sun set upto third quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 2½ hours after it for the remaining days of the month. The planet is at aphelion or farthest from the Sun in its orbit on 30th. Mars: The planet rises about ½ hour to 1 hour before local midnight upto second quarter of the month, about 1 hour to 1½ hours before it for the remaining days of the month. Jupiter: The planet rises about 2½ hour to 3 hours before local midnight upto first quarter of the month, about 3 hours to 3½ hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 3½ hours to 4 hours before it upto third Quarter of the month, about 4 hours to 4½ hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth from 9th. Saturn: The planet sets about 1½ hours to 2 hours before sunrise upto first quarter of the month, about 2 hour to 2½ hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 2½ hours to 3 hours before it upto third quarter of the month about 3 hours to 4 hours before it for the remaining days of the month. Uranus: The planet rises about 2½ hours to 2 hours after sunset upto first quarter of the month, 2 hours to 1½ hours after it upto third quarter of the month and 1½ hours to 1 hour after it for the remaining days of the month. Neptune: The planet sets about ½ hour to 1 hour before sunrise upto first quarter of the month, about 1 hour to 1½ hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 1½ hours to 2 hours before it upto third quarter of the month about 2 hours to 3 hours before it for the remaining days of the month.
Conjunction of Planet: Mercury passes about 2½0 north of Spica (Chitra) on 9th. Mars passes about 5½º south of Pollux (Punarvasu) on 21st. Venus passes about 3º north of Antares (Jyestha) on 26th.
