The Moon

Full Moon occurs on 4^th at h 09-12 I.S.T.	Last Quarter occurs on 11^th at h 1-01 I.S.T.
New Moon occurs on 18^th at h 10-07 I.S.T.	First Quarter occurs on 26^th at h. 13-20 I.S.T.

The Lunar Crescent becomes first visible after the New Moon day in the evening of 19^th.
The Moon is at Perigee or nearest to the Earth on 7^th and at Apogee or farthest from the Earth on 23^rd

The Moon passes about 3º south of Saturn after midnight on 10^th, about 2º south of Neptune on 11th, about 1½º north of Jupiter on 14^th, about 2º north of Uranus on 15^th, about 4½º north of Mercury on 17^th, about 3½º north of Venus on 22^nd, about 4º north of Mars on 22^nd.

The Earth

The Earth is at Summer Solstice on 21st.

The Planets

Visibility of Planets:

Mercury: The planet rises about 1½ hours to 1 hour before sunrise upto 20^th of the month. From 21^st planet is too close to the Sun to be visible. The planet is at perihelion or nearest to the Sun in its orbit on 28^th.

Venus: The planet sets about 3½ hours to 3 hours after sunset upto third quarter of the month and about 3 hours to 2½ hours after it for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Greatest Eastern Elongation of about 45º from the Sun on 4^th.

Mars: The planet sets before local midnight throughout the month. It sets about 2 hours to 2½ hours before local midnight upto third quarter of the month and about 2½ hours to 3 hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The planet is at Aphelion or farthest to the Sun in its orbit on 1st.

Jupiter: The planet rises about 3 hours to 2½ hours after local midnight upto first quarter of the month, about 2½ hours to 2 hours after it upto second quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 1½ hours after it upto third quarter of the month and 1½ hours to 1 hour after it for the remaining days of the month.

Saturn: The planet rises before local midnight throughout the month. It rises close to local midnight to about ½ hour before it upto first quarter of the month, about ½ hour to 1 hour before it upto second quarter of the month, about 1 hour to 1½ hours before it upto third quarter of the month and about 1½ hours to 2 hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth from 17^th.

Uranus: The planet rises before sunrise throughout the month. It rises about 1 hour to 1½ hours before sunrise upto first quarter of the month, about 1½ hours to 2 hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 2½ hours before it upto third quarter of the month and about 2½ hours to 3 hours before it for the remaining days of the month.

Neptune: The planet rises about 1 hour to ½ hour after local midnight upto first quarter of the month, about ½ hour after local midnight time to close to it upto second quarter of the month, close to local midnight time to about ½ hour before it upto third quarter of the month and about ½ hour to 1 hour before it for the remaining days of the month. The planet is in Quadrature with the Sun on 19^th.

Conjunction of Planets:

Mercury passes about 3º south of Uranus on 4^th.

Mercury passes about 4½º North of Aldebaran on 17^th.
