The Moon passes about 40 north of Mars on 1st, about 40 North of Uranus on 2nd, about 50 north of Jupiter on 3rd, about 40 north of Venus on 6th, about 3½0 north of Mercury on 8th, about ½0 north of Saturn on 25th after midnight, about ½0 north of Neptune on 25th, about 4½0 north of Uranus on 29th, about 50 north of Mars on 30th, about 5½0 north of Jupiter on 31th. The Earth The Earth approaches the Aphelion position in its orbit or reaches farthest from the Sun on 5th. The PlanetsVisibility of Planets: Mercury: The planet sets about 1½ hours after sunset throughout the month. It is in Greatest Eastern Elongation of about 26½º from the Sun on 22nd. The planet is at Aphelion or farthest from the Sun in its orbit on 27th. Venus: The planet sets about ½ hour to 1 hour after sunset throughout the month. The planet is at Perihelion or nearest to the Sun in its orbit on 10th. Mars: The planet rises about 1½ hours to 1 hour after local midnight time upto 3rd quarter of the month and 1 hour to ½ hour after it for the remaining days of the month. Jupiter: The planet rises about 3 hours to 2½ hours after local midnight time upto first quarter of the month, about 2½ hours to 2 hours after it upto second quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 1½ hours after it upto third quarter of the month and about 1½ hours to 1 hour after it for the remaining days of the month. Saturn: The planet rises about 1½ hours to 2 hours before local midnight upto first quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 2½ hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 2½ hours to 3 hours before it upto third quarter of the month and about 3 hours to 3½ hours before it for the remaining days of the month. Uranus: The planet rises about 2 hours to 1½ hours after local midnight time upto first quarter of the month, about 1½ hours to 1 hour after it upto second quarter of the month, about 1 hour to ½ hour after it upto third quarter of the month and about ½ hour to close to local midnight time after it for the remaining days of the month. Neptune: The planet rises about 1 hour to 1½ hours before local midnight time upto first quarter of the month, about 1½ hours to 2 hours before it upto second quarter of the month, about 2 hours to 2½ hours before it upto third quarter of the month and about 2½ hours to 3 hours before it for the remaining days of the month. The motion of the planet becomes Retrograde with respect to the Earth from 2nd.
